FAQ
- Do I need an account to use UnchargeMe?
No for basic local subscription tracking. An account is required for trials, Pro features, purchase restore, and other account-backed features.
- Does UnchargeMe connect to my bank, cards, or email?
Not in the current public mobile release. The app currently focuses on tracking subscriptions you add yourself.
- Does UnchargeMe sync across devices?
Basic tracking is local to your device. Some account-backed features store account, entitlement, notification, and Pro processing data on our servers, but full multi-device sync is not a public promise for the current release.
- How do reminders work?
If you enable reminders, UnchargeMe sends notifications based on the schedule you set for each recurring charge.
- How do I turn off notifications?
You can disable notifications in your device settings for UnchargeMe.
- How do I restore purchases?
Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same UnchargeMe account and the same Apple or Google store account that made the purchase.
- How do I manage or cancel a paid subscription?
App subscriptions are managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Use your device subscription settings to cancel or manage billing.
- How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings and choose Delete Account. You can also review deletion instructions at /delete-account.
- How do I protect my data?
You can use your device authentication, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint, if your device supports it.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure your device notifications are enabled for UnchargeMe.
- Check that a reminder is set for the subscription and that the next charge date is in the future.
- If a purchase is missing, sign in to the same account and use Restore Purchases from Settings.
- Restart the app after changing notification settings.
