UnchargeMe Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 5, 2026
UnchargeMe is designed to help you track recurring charges and upcoming payments. We built it to be privacy-first.
What information UnchargeMe collects
UnchargeMe does not require an account. In the current version, the subscription and reminder information you enter (for example: merchant name, amount, frequency, and next charge date) is stored on your device.
How your data is stored
All app data is stored locally on your device. UnchargeMe does not sync your data to a server in the current version.
Notifications
If you choose to enable reminders, UnchargeMe will request permission to send notifications. Notifications are used only to remind you about upcoming charges. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Biometric / device authentication
If you enable app lock, UnchargeMe can use your device built-in authentication (such as Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint) to unlock the app. UnchargeMe does not collect, store, or have access to your biometric data. Biometric matching is handled by your device operating system.
Third-party services
In the current version, UnchargeMe does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not sell your data.
Sharing and exports
If you use any share/export features, the content you share is sent only to the destination you choose (for example, your email app). UnchargeMe does not receive a copy of what you share.
Children's privacy
UnchargeMe is not intended for children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
